Beta Complete - Now Officially Released

After beta testing and community feedback, the STO Tools Keybind Manager is now officially released with new features that improve keybind management for Star Trek Online.

The the STO Tools Keybind Manager has graduated from beta and is now available with two new features to help you manage your keybinds better.

🆕 Major New Features

Create Binds as Aliases

Transform your keybind organization with systematic alias generation.

This feature converts complex command chains into aliases. Instead of embedding lengthy commands directly in keybind files, your configurations are automatically structured with systematic naming (e.g., space_q, ground_f1).

Automated Reloading: Star Trek Online automatically reloads aliases when changed, and so every character you play will have the latest keybinds, as long as they have loaded the main keybind file.

Better Organization: Separates "what keys do" from "how they do it"

Foundation Ready: Required for advanced Bindsets functionality

Bindsets - Multiple Keybind Configurations

Create and switch between multiple keybind configurations easily in-game.

Think of Bindsets as "loadouts" for your keybinds. Perfect for different ships, builds, or gameplay situations - switch between PvP and PvE setups, different ship roles, or experimental configurations instantly.

Multiple Configs: Different command sequences for the same keys

Instant Switching: Change entire keybind setups with single commands

Visual Management: Easy dropdown interface shows which keys belong to which sets

Flexible Design: Keys can exist in multiple bindsets or be set-specific
